World’s Climate Entering Uncharted Territory

As RWE continues being the single largest CO2 emitter in Europe, the whole Planet is entering uncharted territory with 2016 being the hottest global average temperture measurements stretching back to 1880, with the trend continuing into 2017. Latest research published by World Metereological Association indicates that the world was last this warm about 115,000 years ago, and that atmospheric carbon dioxide levels this high have not experienced for 4m years.

Quoted by The Guardian in the above article Prof Sir Robert Watson, climate scientist at the UK’s University of East Anglia and former head of the UN’s climate science panel said: “Our children and grandchildren will look back on the climate deniers and ask how they could have sacrificed the planet for the sake of cheap fossil fuel energy, when the cost of inaction exceeds the cost of a transition to a low-carbon economy.” This statement referred only to the pro fossil industry propagandists, those actively polluting the planet and irreversibly crashing its climate who work in the RWE offices and mines, and assist them from their positions in CDU, Green Party, Judicial and Law Enforcement system should and will be judged much more harshly by history. Also the Guardian has deinvested in fossil fuels and Watson might has been active in publicizing the planetary dynamic of climate disruption yet both are still advocating green capitalist solution with same levels of consumption and tend not to focus on degrowth or systemic faults of capitalism itself that have gotten Earth and the present day Western Industrial civilization into this predicament while the time is rapidly running out and the Runaway Effect climate chaos bomb keeps ticking away….

Time to pick up your laptop, paint, monkey wrench or whatever else you have in your tool-box and go into action in resisting corporate climate chaos.
