Fasbender relates the story of the resistance within Hambach Forest which is by now known across the world. An action-oriented perspective takes shape during interviews with young activists who are fighting for a future that is worth living. A perspective that manifests itself in a realised attempt at a utopian, post-fossil-fuel lifeform.
The disparity between media narration and personal encounter was significant. One question kept coming back to me: How do we, as a society, deal with those mostly young people, who interfere with the destruction of our planet?
