Legal attempts continue to intimidate climate justice activists: RWE has been issuing letters requesting that individuals involved in the act of entering the Garzweiler mine in 2015, whose names and addresses have been recorded, agree in writing not to enter the mine again in exchange for charges to be dropped. Legal action is being taken by the anti-coal Climate Camp Alliance and supporters to prevent this legalistic arm-twisting.
