Climate protection is no crime
Release imprisoned Hambach Forest Activists – RIGHT NOW!

Since Monday, 01/22/2018, nine activists from the Hambach Forest have been in custody indefinitely. On that day they had obstructed the eviction of barricades in the forest and thus successfully prevented it.

As RWE and the police continue to fail to stop the resistance, we are now experiencing a new level of repression. The result is that now people from whom didn’t come any violence or escalation have been detained for almost two weeks without knowing when they will be free again.

The repression is not only directed against our friends in jail in Cologne and Aachen. It affects us all, because this is a clear sign to all who are committed to climate justice!

But we will oppose that. We are not going to let it get us down and say: Now all the more, because climate protection is not a crime!

This Saturday, February 3rd, 2018, everywhere people will show their solidarity with the Hambi 9. Also in Cologne we carry our protest into the street: It will be loud and colorful on Saturday afternoon in the center of Cologne! Further information will follow soon – be ready!

Bring with you what you will find: fabric, paint, cardboard, your own motives, etc. and transform it into the perfect demo equipment!
